Vegas

Last night's dream:

I was in Vegas with a ton of people for some sort of conference. We were staying in the best suite I've ever seen, complete with our own personal concierge. Oddly enough, the guy looked like a taller version of one of my friends' ex-boyfriends. Who is now married with a child. I spent most of the trip flirting with the concierge. Because not only was he a taller version, he was also slightly cuter.

Co-ed showers

I don't remember all of last night's dream because I woke up around 4 am and forgot most of it by the time I truly woke up for the day.

Last night, I was a dorm mom/hall counselor/RA at some school. My co-dorm mom is my current vice chair on my Junior League committee. We were just trying to keep peace in the dorm with all of the women around.

The weirdest part was that the bathroom was just one big communal shower. No one seemed to care that they were just all standing around naked to shower. And that the shower was co-ed. So some of my guy friends were in there, showering as well. Acting as though it wasn't weird that we were all naked and showering together.

Weddings

I haven't been remembering much of my dreams lately. All I remember about last night's dream was that I was waking up on my wedding day and thinking that I needed to drink a lot of protein drinks so that I could make it through the day. Oddly enough, I don't know of a single bride who has virtually OD'd on protein drinks in order to survive their wedding day.

Trailer trash?

Last night's dream:

I was taking part in some sort of training program. Oddly enough, with a lot of people I knew (who of course aren't familiar to me now that I'm awake...). Part of the program was that our small group had to rework a nursery rhyme or a fairy tale. So we picked Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. And set it in a trailer park. It was very funny!

I, for some reason, decided that I didn't want to even try out for the part of Snow White (which is very unlike me to not want the lead in a play). Instead I wanted to be the narrator. The weird part was that I got super nervous when the play started and my throat kept drying out. And I didn't have any water to drink!

Guitar woman?

Last night's dream wasn't too exciting (and I don't remember a lot of it).

What little I remember was that I was discussing what I wanted to be buried with when I died. Apparently, in my dream, I was a famous musician. Because I wanted to be buried with all of my guitars. The other person convinced me that I should just be buried with my guitar pick.

Anxiety dreams

Last night's dream was ridiculously lame.

I was at the office, sitting back in Mandy and Carrie's office. Heather came back into the office to complain about a pair of jeans that were too baggy on her. I'm going to assume that is somehow connected to the fact that I have been complaining about all of my clothes being too baggy for me right now.

Last Monday night, I had a very strange dream.

I live in a townhouse. There are about 32 townhouses in the little community. We each have 2 assigned parking places. Both of mine happen to be in front of my house. In my dream, we had been having problems with people parking in non-assigned parking spots. So our property manager had hired a towing service to tow cars that were parked where they weren't supposed to be. I had people over to my house. As everyone was leaving, I walked outside and the towing truck was towing my car! Which was parked in my parking spot! I started yelling at them to stop, but they wouldn't. So I called the property manager to get my car back. When she called the towing service, it turned out that they had taken my car to another state and sold it. Why did this freak me out so much? Because my car is a company car! So I woke up kind of freaked out.

Day one, dream version

Last night's dream woke me up with a physical reaction.

I was on a road trip with a female friend. She was nameless and faceless. But clearly, she was a friend. We were making a pretty long trip from wherever we were to wherever we were going. And a mid-way point was an ex-boyfriend's house. The odd thing, this ex-boyfriend doesn't have a house. However, this was a house he had bought in college and was renting out because he didn't live there any more (again, so not true in life because ex actually lives in the same city where he attended college. Don't you just love how dream truth usually isn't truth truth?). The house was currently without renters, so ex said we could stay the night there instead of getting a hotel. We got to the house late in the evening. Apparently I had been there before, because I kept noticing things that had changed. I needed to go to the bathroom and off I went to my favorite bathroom ever! It was completely tiled in black and white. There were columns in it. A huge whirlpool tub. This is the type of bathroom you can actually live in. But what woke me up was the overwhelming urge to actually go to the bathroom. So up I hopped and sleep was over for the rest of the morning.
